Robotics
Robotics is a short term for the ethics of robotics. It is often used in the sense that it has to do with the behavior of humans and how humans do the design, construction, use and treatment of robots and other artificial intelligence beings, while ethics the machines deals with the moral behavior of the robots themselves, whether or not they are agents considered to be artificial morals (AMAs). While the subject is as old as the word robot, the word robotics was probably first used by the robotist Gianmarco Veruggio in 2002, who also served as president of an Atelier funded by the European Robotics Research Network to delineate areas where research may be needed. The road map effectively divides the ethics of artificial intelligence into two sub-fields to accommodate the different interests of researchers.
