Anne Voget


Anne Voget (born February 14, 1951 in Nuremberg, Germany, died August 30, 2011 in Erlangen, Germany) was a German politician (SPD).

Voget graduated from high school in 1970 and studied mathematics and physics at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. She passed both state exams for Lehramt to grammar schools. In 1986 she was trained as a data processing application organizer. Afterwards, she was responsible for the data centers of the employment offices as employees in the Central Office of the Federal Labor Office.

In 1972, Voget joined the SPD. In the board of the Local Association and among the young men, she performed various tasks. She was a deputy regional chairman and a member of the board of the Social Democratic Women's Working Group in Nuremberg, as well as a member of the board of the Bavarian SPD. From 1984 to 1990, Voget was a town councilor in Nuremberg, after which she sat until 2003 for the constituency of Mittelfranken in the Bavarian Landtag.
