Jopie van Oudtshoorn (born February 5, 1976) is a former South African sprinter who specialized in the 400 meter run.
The most significant success of his career was the bronze medal in the four-time 400-meter relay at the 1999 World Championships in Seville. The South African team had only reached the finish line in the line-up of 3: 00.20 min in the line-up Jopie van Oudtshoorn, Hendrick Mokganyetsi, Adriaan Botha and Arnaud Malherbe. However, the originally victorious US-American squad was subsequently disqualified for a doping offense by their runner Antonio Pettigrew, so that the South African quartet moved up one rank. Van Oudtshoorn also started in Sevilla in the 400 meter run but failed in the quarterfinal round. A month earlier, he won the bronze medal at the Universiade in Palma de Mallorca.
