Internal Revolutionary Organization Macedonia - Bulgarian National Movement
Revolutionary Organization Interior Macedonia - Bulgarian National Movement (in Bulgarian, ВМРО - Българско национално движение ВМРО-БНД) / Vatreschna makedonska revoljuzionna organizacija - Balrogarsko Natsionalno Dvizhenie, VMRO-BND) is a political party of Bulgaria founded in 1989 in the former Yugoslavia within the Federation of Macedonian Cultural Associations (Съюза на македонските културно-просветни дружества). He is considered successor of the historic Internal Revolutionary Organization of Macedonia. Its leader is Krasimir Karakachanov, and among the main leaders is Slavcho Atanasov, mayor of Plovdiv. At the Bulgarian legislative elections of 2001 he appeared in coalition with the Movement of the Day of San Jorge, but only obtained 3.63% of the votes. In the Bulgarian parliamentary elections in 2005, the Bulgarian People's Union coalition took 5.2% of the vote and 13 seats.
