Eduard Moritz of Kries

Eduard Moritz von Kries (* 28 July 1802 in Ostrowitt, Kreis Loebau, West Prussia, 4 December 1889 in Oliva near Gdańsk) was a Prussian administrative jurist and government president of Gumbinnen in the province of East Prussia Edit LifeQualtext

Moritz studied law in Berlin and Königsberg i. Pr. From 1824 he worked for two years as an auscultator. He then worked as a trainee at the Oberlandesgericht in Marienwerder (West Prussia).
