Andia

Andia (an-dia, An-di-ia) was an ice-kingdom in the Zāgros mountains. It was close to Zikirtu. Andia was temporarily under the rule of Mannai. On the Urartan inscription of Taštepe, a description of the campaign against Mannai, a land Misianda (mi-si-an-di-a), is mentioned, which could be a miswriting of Missi and Andia after Levine. At the time of Sargon, Andia seems to have been an Assyrian vassal. When it allied itself with Rusa I of Urarṭu, it became the goal of Sargon's 8th campaign.
