Theodor Hoorns
Theodor Hoorns (* 12 June 1888 in Hamburg; † 18 August 1976 ibid) was a German politician (FDP). Life, Work, and Politics
Hoorns was a teacher by profession and as a student council at a Gymnasium in Harburg. He became involved in the FDP and was elected to the district council of Harburg in 1949 on the list of the Vaterstadtbundesamt Hamburg. In 1953, he was re-elected to the District Committee on the list of the Hamburg bloc, but laid down the mandate after a few weeks in favor of Heinrich Laue, since he had also been elected to the Hamburg citizenship during the concurrent citizenship election. After the dissolution of the Hamburg block, he was elected again to the citizenship in the national list of the FDP in 1957. In 1961 he renounced a further candidacy and left the parliament.
