Edit HistoryQual
The association was founded in April 1980 under the name Les Mouettes ("The Seagulls"); this bird still graces the club coat in the 21st century. At the same time, the founders set up a football school for children of both sexes, which nowadays only girls are open. The rename to the current name took place soon afterwards. The colors of the club are red and white; the league team will play their home games in the Stade Philippe-Roth. Ligacy affiliation and success
The "seagulls" finished the preliminary round on their first participation at the Landesmeisterschaft (1982/83), but they were eliminated in the quarter-finals. In the following three years they also reached the nationwide first round, without qualifying for the next one. After that, Saint-Quentin never came that far for a decade. It was not until the mid - 1990s that the ASSQ entered the 1992 second division (Championnat National 1 B), and in the 1997/98 season, their women 's team played for the first time in the club' s football league A was called. The climber found himself well in this and occupied a considerable seventh place in the final classification. Twelve months later, however, it was only the penultimate position, which was equal with the descent. By 2005, Saint-Quentin was still represented in Division 2; since then the Ligafrauschaft has only played a third (2014/15 is the regional division d'Honneur).
In the national cup competition the women of the AS Saint-Quentin 2014/15 stood for the sixth time in the France-wide main round; but they only managed to reach the round of the last 16 in their first fixture (2001/02). Weblinks Edit sourcetext Annotations and Proofs Edit the source text
