Joachim Krüger (* 31 January 1915, † 21 April 1969) was a German concert organizer and consultant.
The commercial clerk was persecuted at the time of the Third Reich because of his homosexuality. After 1945, Krüger, who was also active as a singer and mint artist, founded a concert director in Berlin. With it he brought numerous, in some cases international, large-scale events to the city, among other things. for the first time an ice revue. Krüger was also the first to bring an event to the Berlin Forest Theater after 1945. In the early days of the Krüger Directorate, the artists were mostly not rewarded with money, but with naturalia. Later, the division of Berlin had a negative effect on Kruger's activities, and his company was in ruins in 1951. However, as the most well-known Conferencier at major events in Berlin, he remained a great figure in Berlin's cultural life. In 1967, for example, he gave Zarah Leander an acclaimed Galakonzert for her 60th birthday at the Sportpalast in Berlin. Events like this, which Krüger accompanied with his conferences, are documented on records. Edit individual documentsQualtext
