Hans Lukas
Hans Lukas (born 26 August 1935 in Döltsch, Germany, February 11, 2017 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate) was a German politician (CSU).
Lukas attended the elementary school and did an apprenticeship in the agricultural profession. He had been active in the rural youth movement for more than 20 years, many of whom were presidents of the circle and diocesan. From 1959, he was engaged in the Bavarian Farmers' Union, first as a representative of rural youth in the county presidency, then as deputy Kreisobmann in the District Council and in the General Assembly of the BBV. He was Chairman of the Administrative Community of Neustadt and of the Fischerzeugerring Oberpfalz.
Lukas was a member of the district council of Neustadt an der Waldnaab from 1966 and from 1972 to 2002 mayor in the hometown Kirchendemenreuth. He has also been chairman of the Junge Union and the CSU in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab for many years. From 1970 to 1994 he was a member of the Bavarian parliament.
