Hans Goger
Hans Goger (* 1906; † 1978) was an Austrian, national socialist politician and gaupropagandalist from Oberschützen. He was appointed a member of the Burgenland Parliament by Gauleiter Tobias Portschy on 15 March 1938.
Goger lived in Jena in the 1920s with his friend, the later Gauleiter Tobias Portschy, traveling to Weimar, Erfurt and Leipzig. Goger was mentioned by Portschy as one of his deputies in a letter and was active during the period of illegality for the NSDAP. After the seizure of power by the National Socialists, Goger headed the Reichspropagandaamt Niederdonau, was the land cultural administrator of the Reichskulturkammer, Landesstelleleiter of the Ministry of National Enlightenment and Propaganda as well as head of the main site culture in the Gauleitung of the NSDAP Edit source text
