Dry temperature
Dry air temperature, or more simply dry temperature, is called that of air, regardless of the heat radiation of the objects surrounding that environment and the effects of relative humidity and air velocity.
It can be obtained with the mercury thermometer, whose reflective and bright white bulb is reasonably assumed to not absorb the radiation. It is used in certain climates in construction. Nall notes that this is "one of the most important climatic variables for the energy efficiency of buildings and for the thermal comfort of human beings."
