Bredebro Municipality
Bredebro was a municipality in Sønderjyllands Amt, the most south-western part of Denmark.
It was created during the administrative reform in 1970 from the Kirchspielgemeinden Ballum, Brede, Randerup, Skast (German: Schads) and Visby (German: Wiesby). Since the village of Bredebro was the economic and traffic-technical place in these five municipalities in Bredebro, its name was chosen as the name for the new commune. With the municipal reform on January 1, 2007, the commune started in the Großkommune Tønder (German: Tondern). Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext County of Sønderjylland (1970-2006)
