A feudal lord, owner of lives and estates, leaves for his war and leaves his son Gonzalo in his place, imposing a single limitation on his power: two women, mother and daughter, living in a secluded mill. The miller Elvira, one of the lovers of Don Diego, has a beautiful daughter, Elena, and the desire of Gonzalo focuses on the two. But Elena is also daughter of Don Diego and, to avoid incest, marry her with a pastor.
