On the planet earth is known as lunar landscape to the areas of steep and arid hills that make the environment gives a landscape similar to that of the moon.

These landscapes can span extensions ranging from a few tens of square meters, being rather an enclave, up to several hectares constituting a real landscape. Since long before the first photographs from the moon have been called in this way to have a rare appearance on the planet we inhabit and believe that they were landscapes more own of another world like the moon.
