Egbert Wilhelm von Hochstetter (* March 31, 1868 in Vienna, died August 2, 1906 in Troppau) was an Austrian mountain engineer.
Hochstetter was a son of the geologist Ferdinand von Hochstetter. He promoted to the Dr. at the University of Vienna in 1896 phil. and graduated in 1899 at the Bergakademie Leoben as a Diplom-Bergingenieur. He worked as a mountain engineer in the Ostrau-Karwiner Steinkohlenrevier. He described the fossil cephalopods Belemnites eduardi and Stephanoceras tennicostatum.
