The Basilica of Santo Domingo is one of the main places of worship in Bologna and the main headquarters of the Dominican Order. In the church, there are the remains of Santo Domingo, the founder of the Church of St. Dominic (Nicola Pisano and his students, with contributions by Niccolò dell'Arca, Michelangelo, Alfonso Lombardi and Jean Baptiste Boudard).
