Annemiek Derckx

Annemiek Derckx, originally Anna Maria Josephine Derckx (born April 12, 1954 in Beegden, now Maasgouw in the province of Limburg) is a former Dutch canoeist.

Derckx won the bronze medal in the women's one-kayak in a canoe race at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles over a distance of 500 m (short distance) with a time of 2: 00.11 min. At the Olympic Summer Games in Seoul in 1988, she also finished 3rd in the K2 of the women, together with Annemarie Cox and a time of 1: 46.00 min.

In addition, she took third place in the Canoe World Championship in Mechelen in 1985 with Annemarie Cox in the K2 and won two years later at the Canoeing World Cups in Duisburg in 1987 with Cox in the same distance silver. Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext
