Angle of Camper
Defined by the Dutchman Petrus Camper as a facial angle. It is an angle formed by the facial line, defined by the most prominent part of the forehead and the most anterior part of the alveolar ridge of the upper jaw, and the camper plane, formed by a horizontal line running from the ear to the wing of the nose. It indicates the inclination of the forehead.
Camper found that the Europeans had an angle of 80 °, the Africans of 70 °, the orangutan of 58 ° and in the barinenses of 42 °. Bibliography Note
