Church of the Assumption of Our Lady (Baldellou)
The church of the Assumption of Our Lady of Baldellou (Province of Huesca, Spain) is a transitional Romanesque style building from the 13th century.
The original building is of a single nave, and its architecture is cloaked in the exterior by various annex buildings, such as the 18th century brick bell tower; only in the interior, its original forms are noticed.
In the interior, it is composed of a nave covered with vault of pointed cannon, preceded by a wide presbytery, also pointed and topped by drum apse covered with vault of quarter of sphere, made with blocks of careful execution and placement. p>
Later chapels were opened in later times, and on the north side, the intercommunicated chapels have given rise to a second nave parallel to the Romanesque.
An impeller of nacela profile goes through apse, presbytery and ship, as only decoration.
