Cleopatra Eurydice of Macedonia


Eurydice (Greek Ευρυδίκη), born Cleopatra (Greek Κλεοπάτρα) was a Macedonian noblewoman from the mid-4th century BC. C: niece of Attalus and the last of the seven wives of Philip II of Macedonia. Biography

Cleopatra was a young woman whom Philip married in 338 or 337 BC. C. As wife of Philippe, Cleopatra received the name "Eurydice". Although Philip was a polygamist, his marriage to Cleopatra severely displeased his wife Olimpia, and questioned the role of Alexander the Great as his successor.
