Askale Tafa (Askale Tafa Magarsa, born September 27, 1984) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner specializing in the marathon.

In 2005 she became a third at the Rome and Berlin Marathon. In 2006 she won the Milan Marathon and in the 2007 Dubai Marathon. In the same year she won the Paris Marathon in 2:25:07 h.

She took 22th place at the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka

In 2008 she became third in Dubai, fifth in the Boston Marathon and second in Berlin with her personal best time of 2:21:31.
