José Miguel Villalobos Umaña

José Miguel Villalobos Umaña is a Costa Rican politician and criminal lawyer. Villalobos was Minister of Security during the Rodríguez Echeverría administration and director of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund.

Villalobos attended high school at Calasanz College and law school at the University of Costa Rica. In 2005 he founded the National Democratic Alliance party, whereby he is a presidential candidate for the 2006 elections as well as head of the diputadilist list for the province of Alajuela, obtaining 0.2% of the votes and without obtaining deputies. >
