Gregori Bochada or Bechada was a gentleman and troubadour Limousin in Occitan XII century. Born in the city of Las Tours, he participated in the First Crusade as a subordinate of Gulferio de Las Tours, and in 1130 he composed the Song of Antioch in Roda de Isábena, a poem of 707 verses, which tells of the siege of Antioch in 1098, hero to Godfrey of Bouillon.
It was the work that initiated the genre of the occitan historical song. His melody was used for the Song of the Crusade by William of Tudela. Bibliography
