Eva Wagner-Pasquier (Oberwarmensteinach, Germany, April 14, 1945) is a German theater entrepreneur who co-directed the Bayreuth Festival between 2009 and 2015 with her sister by Father Katharina Wagner.
Daughter of Wolfgang Wagner and Ellen Drexel, she was her father's assistant at the Festival between 1967 and 1975. She served in the Wiener Staatsoper and Covent Garden in London. She was executive at the UNITEL company in Munich until 1984 and worked in programming at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, Houston Opera, Bastille Opera, Metropolitan Opera and Chatelet Theater.
There was a long-standing succession dispute (his father favored his second wife Gudrun Wagner and his daughter Katharina) instead of Eva Wagner-Pasquier and Wieland Wagner's daughter Nike Wagner. The sudden death of Gudrun in 2008 precipitated a co-direction of the Festival by the two sisters.
When she turned 70, she resigned as a consultant.
She is married to French film producer Yves Pasquier and has a son, Antoine Amadeus Pasquier, born in 1982.
