The Esperanto League of North America (ELNA, Esperanto-Ligo by Norda Ameriko) is the national organization of Esperanto in the United States. It was founded in 1952 in Sacramento, California, and after many years replaced an earlier organization, the American Esperanto Association (EANA, Esperanto-Asocio de Norda Ameriko), as the leading Esperanto organization in the United States. / p>
ELNA manages the largest Esperanto bookstore in America. He edited a bimonthly newsletter, Esperanto USA. He also sometimes publishes books on Esperanto. Its direction is constituted by the president, vice-president, secretary, cashier, and other nine other people; also has many commissioners with various tasks within the Esperanto movement.
ELNA has a national congress every year since 1953, usually in the United States but sometimes in Mexico (along with the Mexican Esperanto Federation) or in Canada (along with the Canadian Esperanto Association). p>
The youth section of ELNA is the American Esperantist Youth (USEJ, Usona Esperantista Junularo).
