Candelario Cervantes
General Candelario Cervantes was a Mexican military man who participated in the Mexican Revolution. He was born in the city of Chihuahua, Chihuahua. In 1910 he joined the armed movement against General Porfirio Díaz. After the cutoff of Victoriano Huerta known as Decena Tragic, he joined the forces of Francisco Villa, where he became part of the "Dorados" group. He emphasized in the fight of the Treasury of Santa Clara, Chihuahua, where he defeated with the forces to his command to the huertistas forces. He died in 1916 during the Punitive Expedition of John J. Pershing, fighting to the American forces in the Population of Cruces, Chihuahua. Bibliography
