Amt Warnow-Ost
Location of the office in the district Bad Doberan
On March 9, 1991, six municipalities were merged into the administrative office of Warnow-Ost, headquartered in the municipality of Dummerstorf. Until 1996, the office was located in Kavelstorf. The office in the district of Bad Doberan in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany) bordered the Hansestadt Rostock in the north, the district Güstrow in the south. The western boundary of the office formed the Warnow as a name-bearer.
On 7th June 2009, the office of 119.89 km² and 7.333 inhabitants (31 December 2007) was dissolved and the municipalities of Damm, Kavelstorf, Kessin, Lieblingshof and Prisannewitz were integrated into Dummerstorf. The last official was Dieter.
