Pyotr Petrovich Schilovsky (Russian: Пётр Петрович Шиловский; * September 12, 1871; † 3 June 1957) was a Russian count, lawyer, politician and inventor. He was Governor of Kostroma (1910-1912) and of the Province of Olonez (1912-1913). He became known as the inventor of a two-wheeled self-balancing car, which he completed in November 1913. After the October Revolution, he emigrated to England, married, got three daughters and worked in Dulwich for the Sperry Corporation. Calculate source text
