Piedmont Dolomites

The Pizolada delle Dolomiti, or La Pizolada, is an Italian competition in the ski mountaineering since 1973. It is located in the Fassa Valley of the Passo San Pellegrino above Moena. The Pizolada is one of the most important competitions of this sport in Italy. The name comes from the Ladin expression "se pizolar" and means "about gently sliding on skis / on the sledge over the soft snow".

The participants will be able to return a distance of 18 kilometers with a difference of 1,850 meters. In addition, a ten-kilometer route is offered to less experienced people. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
