Piotr Trzaskalski (born February 5, 1964 in Łódź) is a Polish film director.

Trzaskalski studied cultural studies at the University of Łódź and then film director at Łódź Film School. After studying, he first worked for television.

His film Edi was one of Poland's most popular films in 2002. The film was very well received by the audience as well as by the film critics. The film won prizes at the Berlinale, at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and was awarded the prize at the annual Polish Film Festival Awards. The film starred on the former children's star Henryk Gołębiewski, who once again became very popular with the film. In 2005 his second feature film The Master.
