Great Steingrab Kandelin

The Great Barrow Kandelin was a possible megalithic grave of the Neolithic funnel beaker culture at Kandelin, a district of Süderholz in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). It was probably destroyed in the 19th century. Its exact location is not surpassed. There are also no details about orientation, dimensions and type of trench. From here comes an ax from an aftermath of the endneolithic single-grave culture, which came to the private collection Friedrich von Hagenows in the 19th century and is now in the Stralsund Museum. To the south of Kandelin are the large-scale farmers in the Forst Poggendorf. Edit source text
