Esaias boots, also Esajas boots (~ 18 March 1561 in Langensalza, † 12 August 1627 in Erfurt) was a theological enthusiast, who also collected followers around him. Edit LifeQualtext

The son of a clothmaker became a merchant and acted in Langensalza with fish. After a while he took over a wine shop in the town, which he gave up in 1603. He soon devoted himself to the study of the writings of Thomas Miintzer and the Anabaptist, did not go to church service any more and claimed in April 1605, when questioned by the superintendent Melchior Tilesius, that he was Jesus Christ. He was then arrested on 9 August 1605 by order of the consistory in Leipzig, but found, after his release, adherents of the doctrine which he had spread, including, according to Stiefel's statement, Caspar von Rüxleben.

Jacob Boehme expressed several times in his publications against the theory of perfection of boots. Edit source text Standard data (person): GND: 118755277 (PICA, AKS) | LCCN: n85114833 VIAF: 59879638 Wikipedia People Search
