Ulrich Stettler (* 12 June 1938 in Halberstadt) is a former official of the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany (LDPD). He was the chairman of the District Council of the LDPD. Edit LifeQualtext
Stettler studied at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg after completing his high school diploma, as well as a postgraduate course in journalism. From 1974 to 1979 he studied at the Academy for State and Law in Potsdam. He graduated as a graduate student.
Stettler joined the LDPD in 1961. He was a temporary editor or editor of the Liberal Democratic newspaper. From 1964 to 1973 he worked as secretary of the LDPD-Kreisverband Merseburg. From 1973 he was deputy chairman and from 1984 to 1990 chairman of the LDPD district association Halle. From 1982 to 1990, Stettler was a member of the LDPD Central Committee, and from 21 December 1987 to 1990 he was a member of the Central Committee Political Committee.
