Manuel de la Garcia Paz, born in 1960, lives in Morón, Cuba. From his earliest youth he cultivates spinel, that is to say a Spanish poetic structure usual in Cuba, also called tenth peasant.

He studied for five years industrial mechanics, in addition to German language and literature, at the University of Leipzig. He then worked for several years as a translator and interpreter in all four languages ​​and as a German teacher. The Russian and the Italian also speaks fluently. He has made numerous friendly and study trips to Germany, where in 2000 he successfully passed the examinations for the Great Diploma of the German Language, sponsored by the Goethe Institute.

He has participated in several colloquiums of Germanists and German teachers organized by the Humboldt Chair, The University of Havana and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. Today he works as a tour guide in Cuba. Works
