Elisabeth Kuznitzky (January 22, 1878 - 30 November 1944 in Berlin-Plötzensee) was involved in the active resistance to the Third Reich. Edit LifeQualtext

Elisabeth Kuznitzky (born Liliencron) was married to the Jewish medical councilor Kuznitzky and mother of Elisabeth Charlotte Gloeden. Elisabeth Gloeden and her husband Erich Gloeden had granted General von der Artillerie Fritz Lindemann Unterschlupf in the common apartment. Lindemann was a co-conspirator of 20 July 1944. Elisabeth Kuznitzky was arrested with daughter and Schwiegersohn and accused before the People's Court. Erich Gloeden tried to protect the two women from the death penalty. He claimed that the two had not known that Lindemann had been one of the wanted conspirators. On November 27, 1944, the death sentence was passed against Erich Gloeden. Elisabeth Kuznitzky and her daughter preferred to be also trained. They therefore conceded their sympathy, were condemned to death as they were, and executed in Plötzensee by beheading.
