Deit is a low-calorie drink brand and was launched in Germany in 1965 as the first lemonade without added sugar.
Licensor is the company DrinkStar GmbH (a subsidiary of Symrise) based in Rosenheim. Deit is available in Germany and several other European countries. The bottling is carried out by six licensees: AquaRommer, Glashägerbrunnen, Höllensprudel, Kondrauer Mineral- und Heilbrunnen and Vilsa-Brunnen in Germany as well as PET-PACK in Hungary.
In 1965, Deit was the first lemonade to be produced without any added sugar. Until 1998, Deit was a brand of the German Kajo Group by Joachim Müller, based in Gröbenzell near Munich. In the year 1998, the brand Deit was taken over by the DrinkStar GmbH, Rosenheim, and the brand launch of Deit was reworked in 2009.
Deit is available in eight varieties: orange, lime, grapefruit, pink grapefruit, tropical fruits, lemon, citro and cola mix.
