Rene Mlekuž

Mlekuž began his international career at the World Junior Championships in 1993 and 1994, where he started in all alpine disciplines. He later specialized in the technical disciplines slalom and giant slalom.

Between 1995 and 2004, he played over 80 World Cup races. Five times he reached the top ten. The only place on the podium was a second place at the Slalom of Veysonnaz on 21 January 1996.

He took part in the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1996, 1997 and 2001 and became Fifth in 2001 at the World Cup in St. Anton. In 2002 he was a member of the Slovenian Olympic Games during the winter season in Salt Lake City. There he went in the slalom to the start and left in the second run. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
