Brazier

Brazier

Brasero (Spanish) is a basin made of copper, bronze, brass or iron for the reception of burning coals.

It has served as a portable oven since antiquity and was therefore equipped with a handle and feet; occasionally he was also put on a three-legged. The vessels were still in use in the 19th century in Italy and Spain until the end of the 20th century. Braseros made of iron sheet are still used today in South America, very much in Paraguay, with charcoal for cooking. Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext
