Stonewall Award for LGBT Literature


The Stonewall Prize or Stonewall Prize for Literature LGTB is a literary contest called annually by the Spanish publisher Stonewall that awards a novel that reflects the social reality of the collective LGTB.

The aim of the award is to promote and support the development of an LGBT culture for the normalization of this group before society, but also for the creation of new referents and a self-identity characterized by an optics and some keys tacitly shared by its members. own members.

The prize pool is € 2,000 for the winning work, and € 1,000 for the finalist work. In addition, the publisher reserves the right to offer participating novelists the opportunity to judge the publication of their works under the same contractual conditions as the winning works.
