John Stewart Bell Prize

The John Stewart Bell Prize has been awarded every two years by the University of Toronto (Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Control, CQIQC) for excellence in quantum mechanics, both in basic research and in applications, Example in quantum information theory (quantum computer, quantum cryptography, quantum control). The research, which is honored with the prize, should date from the last six years. It is not so much the value of life as a major contribution to research on this rapidly changing territory since the 1990s.

The prize is named after the quantum physicist John Stewart Bell, the author of Bell's inequalities. Edit the source text
