Great cacao

Gran cacao is a historical Venezuelanism that originated from a socioeconomic situation during the colonial era of Venezuela.

Venezuelan cacao was much appreciated and its cultivation and export was Venezuela's greatest source of wealth. The hacienda owners were very wealthy and eventually bought noble titles, which is why they were called "great cacaos." It is still said today to the wealthy and influential person.

Arrogant or boastful people who appear to be what they are not really are often told: It gives them great cacao and does not even get coffee grounds.
