Meret Forster (* 1975 in Munich) is a German music editor.

Meret Forster studied piano, musicology, modern German literature and comparative studies in Munich, Tübingen, Amsterdam and Berlin. Subsequently she promoted Ernst Krenek and Karl Kraus. In 2001, she founded the Akademie Musiktheater today at the Deutsche Bank Foundation. From 2001 to 2004 she was a freelance contributor to the music department of the Bayerische Rundfunks.
