Sati Anusuiya Temple, Uttarakhand


Sati Anusuiya Temple is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state of India. Anusuya remembered her husband in her heart and this trinity became a six month old baby. Then Mother Anasuya gave food to the Tridevs according to their wishes. Thus, Tridev started enjoying the childhood. On the other hand, the three women became unhappy with the separation of husbands. Then on the request of Narada Muni, they started praying to Anusuya to bring their husbands to their original form. On the strength of her virtue, Anasuya brought the three gods back to the East. From that time she became famous as the mother Sati Anusuya.

Anusuya's magnificent stone statue is situated in the temple's womb, on which the silver antenna is kept. Statues of Shiva, Parvati, Bhairav, Ganesh and Vanadavata are seated in the temple premises.
