Pyotr Vasilyevitch Oreshin (between 1923 and 1927)

Piotr Vasilyevich Orshin (Russian: Пётр Васильевич Орешин; * July 16/28 July 1887 in Atkarsk, 15 March 1938) was a Russian poet.

Oreschin was considered one of the most influential poets from the peasantry. He began publishing 1911 poems and published more than 50 books. These were mostly dedicated to the life of the peasants. In 1938 he fell victim to Stalin's cleansing.
