Membrane praeformativa
The membrana preforma is an anatomical structure that occurs during tooth development. As a basal membrane, it forms the boundary surface between the determined mesenchymal connective tissue (mesodermal tooth papilla) and the ectodermal melting organ. This basement membrane thickened just before the dentin begins and is the development of the dentin melting limit. Here, odontoblasts and amelo- or adamantoblasts just before the beginning of the pre-renal / preenamel transformation are back-to-back and then remove themselves from them formed tooth hard substances in opposite directions from each other.
