Iddo Netanjahu


Iddo Netanyahu (* 1952 in Jerusalem) is an Israeli radiologist, author and playwright. He is the younger brother of the current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the soldier Jonathan Netanyahu as well as the son of Benzion Netanyahu Edit LifeQualtext

He spent part of his childhood in the United States. He graduated from Cornell University in 1973 before joining the Yom Kippur War. He served as well as his two brothers in the Israeli special unit Sajeret Matkal.

He did his MD at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and then completed internships at the University Clinic of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. and the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He works as a radiologist at the St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, New York, and is the medical director of his radiology department. Besides, he writes books and plays, with which he began during his studies. His play A Happy Ending was performed in Italy by the Compagnia dell'Attimo for the European Day of Remembrance 2008.
