Adamantios Androutsopoulos

Adamantios Androutsopoulos (Greek Αδαμάντιος Ανδρουτσόπουλος; 1919 - 10 November 2000) was a lawyer, professor, and Prime Minister of Greece from 1973 to 1974. He was born in Psari Trifilia, studied at the University of Athens and at the University from Chicago. He was Minister of Property (1967-71) and Minister of Internal Affairs (1971-73) during the military regime of Papadopoulos. When Papadopoulos was overthrown in 1973, Androutsopoulos was head of the Government, and also Minister of Finance, until the return of the democratic government in 1974.
