Joël Fajerman


Joël Fajerman (* 1948 in Paris) is a French musician and composer. His music was known in Germany by the series Die Pflanzene leben Die Pflanzen, which was broadcast for the first time in 1981.

He learned playing the piano at the age of 5 and playing guitar at the age of 13. After graduating from school at the age of 17, he joined rock groups in different compositions with whom he went on tour in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1978, he set up the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 and composed his first pieces in Japan. In the same year, his first album Racines synthétiques was released together with Jan Yrssen.
