Additive System of Photographic Exposure

The APEX System (English: Additive System for Photographic Exposure) is a mathematical model presented under the standards ASA PH2.5-1960, ASA PH2.12-1961 and ANSI PH3.49-1971 Method for calculating exposure settings in photography on the basis of logarithmic basis values. The objective is the calculation of exposure parameters using simple addition equations.
